🌾 Stride Ahead Equine Nutrition Consultation

The Nutrition Consultation provides expert, individualized equine dietary support anywhere in Australia. This service is suitable for all horses, from those at rest to those undertaking high-performance work, and is designed to ensure their nutritional needs are fully met.

Consultation Overview:

• Comprehensive Dietary Review: Assessment of your horse’s current feeding program to identify imbalances or deficiencies.
• Pasture Analysis: We recommend testing of the major forage within the horses diet in order to accurately analyse nutritional needs. 
• Balanced Diet Formulation: Creation of a diet tailored to your horse’s requirements, addressing specific owner concerns such as condition, performance, or health management.
• Detailed Report: You will receive a comprehensive report outlining proposed dietary changes, including feed types, quantities, and any recommended supplements.

Consultation Process:

1. Payment for the consultation is completed.
2. Stride Ahead Equine will email the dietary consultation form for completion.
3. Upon submission of the form, a 1-hour phone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your horse’s nutrition and proposed plan in detail.
4. The detailed report will be emailed to you within one week following the remote consultation.

Post-Consultation Support:
We provide six months of ongoing support to ensure the recommended dietary adjustments remain appropriate and effective for both horse and owner.

More than one horse?
Extra horses can be added on to this package for $80/horse.
A horse's weight, activity and health status significantly impact a horse's dietary requirements. Including extra horses into the consultation means that their requirements can be met while taking into consideration what your other horses are being fed to ensure efficient and effective feeding. Please get in contact with us if you are interested in a consultation for 2 or more horses.  

Optional Custom Mineral & Vitamin Mix:
As part of the dietary plan, a custom mineral and vitamin mix can be formulated to meet your horse’s specific requirements. The cost of this supplement is additional to the consultation fee.
